At Pinpoint Academy, our training program follows a comprehensive three-phase approach, providing a strong foundation in permanent makeup. As a brand ambassador with Micro Pigmentation Educators, Anna teaches a curriculum that is vetted by seasoned artists and offered in multiple states across the U.S., ensuring you receive industry-recognized education.
Phase 1 lays the foundation for your permanent makeup training, covering essential theory and guided observation of Powdered Brows, Lash Enhancement Eyeliner, and Lip Blushing. No matter which technique(s) you choose to specialize in for Phases 2 and 3, you will gain a strong understanding of all three.
What’s Included in Phase 1?
What You’ll Learn:
Phase 1 is designed to give you a solid foundation, equipping you with the knowledge and confidence to move forward in your permanent makeup journey.
In Phase 2, you’ll visit our salon for in-person training, where you’ll observe real procedures, practice with your machine, and refine your techniques. This phase does not include live models yet but provides essential hands-on experience before working on clients.

Each student receives one-on-one guidance from our instructor, Anna, ensuring you feel fully supported. Even after completing the course, you’ll have direct access to Anna for continued advice and mentorship throughout your PMU journey.

Now that you’ve completed extensive training and practice, it’s time to work on live models back at our salon. By this stage, you’ll feel confident and comfortable in the space, fully prepared to apply your skills under expert supervision. Your Phase 3 typically begins 3 to 4 weeks after Phase 2.
What to Expect:
Before working on models, you’ll know exactly what is expected for grading, ensuring you’re fully prepared.
In addition to the fundamentals course, we also offer one-on-one mentor days and advanced training courses for artists looking to further their expertise.
